The People’s Bank of China will host the 2016 GPFI Forum – Digital Financial Inclusion on July 18 & 19 2016 in Chengdu, China.
During the two-day event, a series of sessions will be held to explore different facets of digital financial inclusion:
• Infrastructures and the development of digital financial inclusion
• Legal framework and policy priorities of digital financial inclusion
• Innovation, risk management and regulation of digital financial inclusion
• Digital financial inclusion, de-risking and AML/CFT
• Promising innovations in digital payments supporting financial inclusion
• Digital alternative data and SME supply chain finance
• Digital solutions for rural financial inclusion

The first GPFI Meeting of 2016 will be held 3 March 2016 in Shanghai, China.
The first GPFI Workshop of 2016 is scheduled for 1-2 March in Shanghai, China. Topics of discussion include global trends in financial inclusion, reaching the last mile, roles of public and private sector in financial inclusion, financial inclusion indicators and data, and digital financial inclusion.
The SME Finance Forum was created by G20 leaders in 2012 to share knowledge, spur innovation, and promote the growth of small and medium enterprises around the world. The Forum is managed by IFC and brings together financial institutions, technology companies, and development finance institutions in a global center of knowledge, best practice and networking.
The SME Finance Forum is organizing an official launch of its Global Membership Network on 15 November, 2015 in Antalya, Turkey, under the auspices of Her Majesty Queen Máxima of the Netherlands, Honorary Patron of the GPFI and His Excellency Mr. Cevdet Yılmaz, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey.

Agenda of the Global SME Finance Forum, 15-16 November 2015, Antalya
The fourth meeting of the G20 Development Working Group (DWG) under the Turkish G20 Presidency will be held on 14-16 September 2015 in Antalya, Turkey.
The GPFI Forum and Plenary is scheduled to be held 11-12 September, 2015, in Antalya, Turkey. See the agenda.
Day one will be an open forum for G20 and non-G20 countries, GPFI implementing partners and other stakeholders. The focus of the Forum will be on private sector engagement. The Plenary meeting, for GPFI members and implementing partners only, will take place the second day. The group will discuss the work of the GPFI Subgroups and propose priorities for the GPFI in 2016.
