In 2021, the GPFI carried out the third review of G20 National Remittance Plans (NRPs), following a new template devised by the WB and IFAD to adequately take into account the developments occurred during (and because of) the COVID-19 pandemic crisis as well as the G20 Roadmap on cross-border payments.

October 26, 2018--In this interview, Nestor Espenilla, Jr, Governor of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP, the Philippine central bank), shares his reflections on the big global changes over the years since the first FSI-GPFI SSBs conference in 2012, and how a developing country such as the Philippines views these emerging issues.
This year’s GPFI Forum will take place on July 3-4 in Saudi Arabia. The GPFI Forum will bring together policymakers, regulators, and other interested parties who work on financial inclusion around the world. The second GPFI Plenary Meeting under the Presidency of Argentina will take place on July 2, 2018 in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. As in the past, the Plenary Meeting will allow policymakers and implementing partners to take stock of progress to date and establish key milestones for the next period.
