The GPFI and the Financial Stability Institute (FSI) will convene the Fourth GPFI Conference on Standard-Setting Bodies and Innovative Financial Inclusion: Implications of FinTech and Other Regulatory and Supervisory Developments. The conference will be hosted by the FSI at the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland, on 25–26 October 2018.

This workshop will bring together policymakers, regulators, and other oversight officials from around the world. Representatives of the private sector, including from financial technology startups, are also expected to attend. The main objective of the workshop is to enhance the ongoing policy dialogue about the financial inclusion of people who are forcibly displaced.
The GPFI Forum will be held in Saudi Arabia on July 3-4, 2018.

The 2018 GPFI plenary and workshop, hosted by the Argentinean G20 Presidency is scheduled for 6-7 February in Buenos Aires, Argentina. On the 6 February there will be a workshop on the interaction between "Digitisation and Informality", and on the 7 February, Argentina will host the first plenary of the G20 Global Partnership for Financial Inclusion.
